Canford circa 1959. Edwin la Dell 1914-1970. Hand-signed original lithograph no. 46/75. Large lithograph in good condition, see the photos. Mounted on lightweight cardboard, size 54 x 72 cm. Original lithograph by the artist Edwin la Dell (1914-1970) published around 1959 as part of a series of works representing the main public schools in Great Britain. Canford: a Grade I listed manor redesigned by Sir Charles Barry, architect of the Houses of Parliament, in the 19th century. It is now a co-educational school. Signed in pencil in the lower right margin, titled in the centre, and numbered in the lower left margin. Original colour lithograph on thick T H Saunders vellum paper, mounted on fine cardboard. Lithograph in excellent original condition, with bright colours, very clean, see the photos.
