Two vases - Denbac - France - 1920-1949 - Art Deco style ceramics

Two sandstone vases in art deco style from the denbac pottery of vierzon. The sophisticated glazes of denbac flamed stoneware pottery are unique to each piece. These containers are decorated with a matte artistic drip glaze of golden ochre-brown color, with some darker accents and subtle reflections of olive green and orange. Denbac is the brand of the company denert et balichon de vierzon, in central france. The name denbac is a contraction of the surnames of the partners, the ceramist rené denert and the manager rené-louis balichon.les vases is in very good condition and bears the mark "denbac" printed under the foot.
