Large champagne bucket in thick (approx. 9 kg) transparent crystal, hot-modeled with stretching. Made by Antonio and/or Guido Bon at the Val Saint Lambert crystal factory in Belgium around 1950/1960. Perfect condition. Unsigned, documented (see attached photos). Note: This work can be compared to that of André Thuret for Daum in Nancy. Bibliography: Referenced in the book "Mardaga - La verrerie européenne". Biography: Antonio and Guido Bon are two Italian designers active in the 1950s and 1960s. They worked in the field of furniture and decorative objects, collaborating with several European houses. In the 1960s, they created several pieces for the Val Saint Lambert crystal factory, including this vase. Their work is marked by simple forms, clear lines and attention to function. Their creations are now sought after by collectors of 20th-century design.
