Diabolo style Gong wall lamp

Diabolo style wall lamp in black metal and brass. Mid-century modern style (1950s-60s), more specifically "diabolo" or Italian Stilnovo style. This wall lamp is characterized by: • Its iconic diabolo shape (double cone/hourglass): a large black conical shade at the bottom and a smaller one at the top, connected by a brass ring. • The matte black and brass contrast (arm and details). • The round black base and the straight brass arm, very minimalist. This wall lamp is part of the many period wall lamps or contemporary reissues/inspirations, notably by the English publisher Gong.
