This beautiful Transition style chest of drawers is an elegant piece dating from the late 19th century. It perfectly illustrates this pivotal period when the curves of the Louis XV style began to give way to the rigor and symmetry of the Louis XVI style. The structure is in very good overall condition, reflecting quality craftsmanship that has stood the test of time. The finishes are complemented by original bronze fittings that highlight the lines of the piece. Note: the marble top is cracked in the middle. Aside from this aesthetic flaw, the rest of the piece is in excellent condition. The interior layout offers a generous storage space with spacious and fully functional drawers.
