The painting depicts a colourful street scene in paris, where rows of colourful buildings line a quiet street. The artist has used a myriad of uplifting colours, and has painted in an expressionist style – using quick and distinct brushstrokes to executed this richly coloured scene. This oil on canvas is housed in its original mid century gilt frame. The painting is in very good vintage condition, and the frame has some areas of scuff and losses, commensurate with its age.
