Lot of 3 Sarreguemines deep plates - Sunny pattern - hand-painted, 1920s

Sunny pattern deep plates by sarreguemines, hand-painted, 1920s. The plates listed here are an exotic find. They are of the ‘sunny’-design, a hand-painted design of a central blue flower, made by the french sarreguemines manufactory. Based on the mark, the plates are to be dated after the end of the first world war, in the 1920’s. A more optimistic view after years of horror, sadly too optimistic… Condition: the plates show some craquelure, but are overall in good condition. Dimensions: diameter 23cm/9 inches; height 4 cm/about 1, 57 inches. Perfect for soup, pasta, or anything else you can imagine. Or to simply to bring some sunshine into your home. Made in france.
