Brass and glass lantern

Beautiful six-sided lantern made of glass and bronze-coloured metal, probably brass, patinated by the years. It likely dates from the 1980s or 1990s and is in generally good condition: complete (socket, cable, canopy with suspension ring); I have tested it: it works; it is sturdy, the welds are intact, and the glass has neither chips nor cracks. However, it obviously shows its age and the accompanying patina: small stains and various marks, the metal has a dull sheen, but it can certainly be polished up if you wish with fine steel wool and a bit of elbow grease; there is some superficial corrosion on one of the chain links. The socket is designed for a large screw bulb (E27). The lantern measures 24 cm in maximum width, 26 cm in height, 33 cm in height with the ring above, and 47 cm in height with the suspension chain and canopy.
