Cider pitcher in enamelled sandstone with gray geometric decoration surrounded by manganese on an ochre background, from the hb odetta manufacture in quimper. It is marked under the base "hb" (for the grande maison de la hubaudière), "quimper odetta", "206" for the form and "1086" for the décor. The odetta brand (named after the odet river, near which was the sandstone earth that was used for this production) was produced by the hb factory between 1926 and 1936, under the impetus of jules varlingue. This new range, in the art deco style, exists alongside the more classic productions of the hb manufacture. New shapes and decorations are created, the contours of which are drawn with a manganese oxide brush, which must not flow during cooking. Many artists have created sets for this range, although they can only rarely be assigned sets, as the pieces are not always signed.
