A decorative bowl made of pressed glass, produced by Huta Krosno in Poland in the 1950s, is a clear example of Art Deco style in its post-war form. Made of massive, smooth glass in a cool, luminous blue shade, it stands out for its transparency and slightly matte surface, which gains a delicate shine when exposed to light. The surface is decorated with symmetrical, vertical grooves running from the center of the vessel to the upper edge, giving it a geometric silhouette with a ribbed rim. The bottom features a characteristic rosette motif typical of the era, adding optical depth. The glass is thick and clearly perceptible in the hand, and the whole piece is in very good condition, free from visible damage, chips, or cracks. The form of this bowl 'tells' about a time when decorativeness was combined with functionality – post-war Poland, the rebirth of everyday aesthetics, and the glassmaking tradition of Huta Krosno met here with the influences of the geometric language of Art Deco. Soft light passes through the blue surface, dancing along the grooves with every movement; the rosette on the bottom, like a radiant fragment of the morning sky, reminds us that even utilitarian glass could be a synonym of optimism and refined simplicity. This bowl can be used as a standalone decorative element on a console or chest of drawers, or as a vessel for fruit or small seasonal decorations. It will fit perfectly in a living room with a collector's, eclectic character, combined with books from the 1950s or ceramics from the era. In more modern interiors, it is worth combining it with subtly textured fabrics or minimalist clear glass to emphasize its geometric lines and cool tone.
