This jewel of Mid-Century Modern design illustrates the absolute pinnacle of the Sommerso technique. A spectacular central "drop" of deep petrol blue levitates fluidly, captured in a layer of brilliant amber crystal. Unlike generally massive art pieces, the execution of this soliflore reveals a rare technical virtuosity with an extremely fine tapered silhouette. The condition is exceptional, worthy of an art gallery (Mint condition). Cherished throughout its life and protected by silicone pads, the perfectly ground base is immaculate and completely free from the usual signs of wear.
