Antique brass umbrella stand

Elegant brass umbrella stand/cane holder with a hammered design, cylindrical in shape, resting on four feet adorned with finely chiselled lion heads. The side handles, also formed of lion heads holding rings, add a majestic character and a neoclassical inspiration to the piece. The openwork upper border features a refined decorative frieze that highlights the craftsmanship of this item. The hammered brass work creates subtle plays of light and gives the umbrella stand a beautiful decorative presence. Although the brass is vibrant, it has a slight patina consistent with its age, which has been deliberately left as is; however, it can be revived and made brighter (according to personal taste) with suitable products.
