A Danish ceramic table lamp from the 1960s-70s in various shades of blue. The glazed ceramic features a beautiful geometric pattern. Made by Søholm Stentøj (Soholm Pottery) on the island of Bornholm, Denmark. Søholm Stentøj, meaning Soholm stoneware, was founded in 1835 by Herman Sonne Wolffsen and Edvard Sonne. In the mid-20th century, Søholm produced a wide range of stoneware in various patterns and shapes. Several designers worked for Søholm Stentøj, including Einar Johansen, Maria Philippi, and Noomi Backhausen, among others. The lamp is signed with the manufacturer's mark and comes with a new lampshade and new textile wiring. Lampshade diameter: 30 cm. Total height with lampshade: 51 cm. Height of the lamp base with socket: 32.5 cm.
