Pierre Giraudon resin hourglass paperweight

Resin paperweight with inclusion of an hourglass from the 60s/70s by pierre giraudon (no signature). - pierre giraudon (1923-2012), biologist, was the first to create naturalistic inclusions in resin: initially for scientific purposes, he then developed the technique for artistic purposes in the 60s/70s/80s. - dimensions: l11.3 X d5.3 X h5.3cm (rectangular parallelepiped with square section). - layer of black resin at the base and transparent resin on top: the transparent resin has yellowed over time under the effect of uv rays but the object remains quite aesthetic. - good condition, note 2 small but discreet accidents in 2 corners (see detailed photos).
