This superb silver-plated cup is from the ERCUIS company. It is adorned with a charming rocaille cartouche engraved with floral motifs. The cartouche is not personalized, but it could be engraved with initials. It was a gift for a birth or wedding, used daily for drinking water at the table. The Ercuis silversmiths bear the hallmark of a centaur and the number "8". The model is numbered "123865". Dimensions: 7.5 cm in diameter X 8 cm in height. Please note some signs of wear, oxidation, and scratches.
