Ará lamp by Philippe Starck for Flos

Table lamp by Philippe Starck model Ará. Designed in 1988 for the Italian manufacturer Flos, the lamp is named after Philippe Starck's daughter. Entirely made of chrome-plated steel, it consists of a circular base and a tapered stem topped with an adjustable horn-shaped head. The originality of the lamp lies in its lighting system: the switch is integrated into the head. To turn on the lamp, you need to lower the horn. A true icon of design from the 80s-90s and surely one of Starck's most famous creations. Remarkable condition close to new, no pitting on the chrome.
