Burov armchair 45 / 50's reissue / Geneviève Dangles & Christian Defrance

Here you will find the Burov 45 Armchair, a 50s reissue made in the 2000s. This one, with its electric blue (very rare) that plays with light, was made in the workshops in 2008. A great classic of the 50s, BUROV reissues its historical collections designed by the couple of designers. Graduating from ENSAD where she studied under René Gabriel, Geneviève Dangles later became a student of André Arbus. She then joined Marcel Gascoin's workshop. Christian Defrance, initially trained in wood sculpture at the Boulle School, met his future wife and collaborator at ENSAD, from which he also graduated. Together, they began a collaboration with BUROV that lasted until the 60s.
