Rare West German ceramic vase with raised floral decoration and beautiful turquoise and white glaze. Numbered 407-34 under the base and still with its original Schlossberg Keramik label. Dimensions: approximately 34 cm high and 15 cm in diameter. The design recalls the style of Bodo Mans, famous designer for Bay Keramik, co-founder of the art collective "Muffel" in 1962. One of its members, Liesel Spornhauer, worked at Schlossberg until 1959. This vase embodies an aesthetic shared between her work and the experimental spirit of the group. In excellent overall condition. Note: a small, discreet chip on the lower inner rim, not visible when the vase is placed upright. A unique piece that combines vintage design and the history of German ceramics.
