"Rocking cart" - The legendary German "rocking cart" (circa 1955)

The legendary rocking cart "Schaukelwagen", designed by Hans Brockhage and Erwin Andrä under the guidance of Bauhaus master Mart Stam, is a masterpiece of modern design from the mid-20th century. Created around 1955 and produced by Siegfried Lenz, this piece of furniture is both a functional toy and a sculptural work. It offers two modes of operation: a rocking chair with curved runners and a four-wheeled cart for toddlers.
