In 1972, italian architect and designer pierluigi spadolini (1922-2000) created the 'boccio' dining chair for 1p (permaflex), made from polyurethane resin. The design reflects the innovative aesthetics of the era, characterized by experimentation with plastics and organic forms. Spadolini utilized polyurethane resin to craft smooth, geometric shapes with a sleek finish.
