Very rare space age italian ‘boccio’ dining chair. In 1972, italian architect and designer pierluigi spadolini (1922-2000) created the 'boccio' dining chair for 1p (permaflex), made from polyurethane resin. The design reflects the innovative aesthetics of the era, characterized by experimentation with plastics and organic forms. Spadolini utilized polyurethane resin to craft smooth, geometric shapes with a sleek finish. These dining chairs seamlessly fit together to form a compact unit, while their deep black color and material make a bold statement in any interior. The two dining chairs, offered individually, are a stylish example of innovative italian design from the 1970s. They are in good vintage condition, with minor signs of wear consistent with their age. Two available, price per piece!.
