Small vintage alpine chair made of solid pine, vernacular Savoyard craftsmanship from the early 20th century, probably intended for agricultural or pastoral use (milking chair). The thick, slightly rounded seat retains the natural irregularities of the wood. The tripod base, made up of three tapered and slightly angled legs, provides excellent stability, typical of alpine furniture. Simple backrest with two vertical supports and a horizontal crossbar. Dimensions. H 61 × W 35 × D 40 cm — Seat height: 37 cm.
