Sculptural hand decorated wall light by Vistosi Murano, rare glass art piece

Unique and rare Mid-Century Modern flush mount lamp by Vistosi, suitable for wall mount. This decorative lamp is a beautiful example of Italian 1960s design and is preserved in very good original condition. The appliqué is composed of two pieces of glass mounted on a slim black metal frame. The bottom white opaline half disk with a black decorated border holds the top half rounded cylinder, hand-decorated with parallel black stripes that convert to the bottom part, creating a fantastic effect. It is a refined and very elegant work of art and craftsmanship from the Muranese glass master in Venice of the last century. Dimensions: Height 39 cm, Width 32 cm, Depth 9 cm.
