Pendant on adjustable counterweight by Stilux

Pendant of Stilux Italy of the 1950s. This pendant, which can be adjusted in height with a counterweight, shows a striking combination of brass, black enamelled metal and plastic green / yellow. Inside of a Lampshade in white metal and outside an extra shadow plastic (perspex). Alongside companies like Arteluce, Arredoluce and Stilnovo, Stilux was one of the manufacturers that has changed the face of Italian lighting design in the 1950s. Although not as known as counterparts, Stilux has had a very progressive design approach. As the company was the first to apply (plexiglas) plastics in practically all its lighting fixtures. Dimensions: height of the light 10.6 in. (27 cm), diameter 11.8 in. (30 cm). The light has been redone to European standards.
