Special fifty fifty lamp designed by the swiss paul talman in 1965 and produced by interaktives licht köln. The lamp consists of an aluminum frame in which 9 plastic balls are placed with an 'on' (white) and 'off' (black) side. By turning the balls, a different pattern with a different play of light is created each time. This lamp can be used freestanding as a table lamp or as a wall lamp. The whole is in almost new condition. The frame is in new condition and all the letters on the balls are intact. Here and there is a tiny scratch on a ball but this is hardly visible. Paul talman was a swiss painter, sculptor, graphic artist and designer. He had a deep interest in the relationship between color and movement. His works were included in museums worldwide. It has no attribution mark, however it is well documented in design history.
