Pair of push candle holders in gilded brass – early 20th century

Pair of antique brass push-button candlesticks, likely dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. Their slender silhouette features a molded cylindrical shaft, a flared bobeche, and a wide circular dish designed to catch wax drippings. Each candlestick is equipped with a side push-button mechanism, allowing the candle to be gradually raised as it burns down. Both mechanisms are functional. These candlesticks have retained their beautiful golden patina and show some signs of age, including small irregularities and traces of oxidation visible in the photographs.
