Authentic side table / end table from the 1950s-1960s, emblematic of Mid-Century Modern style and the modernist design of the atomic era. This elegant and highly functional model is directly inspired by the work of Mathieu Matégot and his famous perforated sheet metal. The piece features two levels: Upper level: A black lacquered perforated sheet metal shelf, in perfect condition (no deformation, impeccable paint). Ideal for holding a vinyl player, a lamp, or a plant. Lower level: A large V-shaped wire rack designed to organize and store your vinyl records (33 RPM) or your favorite magazines. Materials and design: Geometric structure in golden tubular metal. The two high side handles allow for easy movement of the piece. The original black plastic protective pads are present under the feet. Condition of the item: The upper shelf in black perforated metal is in impeccable condition. The golden structure shows a beautiful patina of use, healthy and bright, which attests to its authenticity and gives it all its vintage charm. Ideal dimensions for a contemporary interior: H 54 cm X W 49 cm X D 38 cm. Perfect in a living room next to a sofa, in a music corner, or an entryway.
