Abstract – dynamic black composition on a beige background

Monogrammed artist "EM" Abstract composition in black ink or gouache, built around a powerful spiral movement. The curved, broad, and overlapping lines create a sense of rotation and depth that is very graphic, almost kinetic. The background in beige and cream tones, punctuated by slight pinkish nuances, adds softness and highlights the contrast with the intense black. A discreet red detail at the centre of the composition subtly draws the eye and balances the whole. This work fits within a modernist aesthetic, evoking the abstract and gestural explorations of the second half of the 20th century, between lyrical abstraction and experimental graphic approach.
