Tapestry "The Bestiary", Robert Four Factory, Aubusson, 20th century

Superb tapestry from the second half of the 20th century, entitled "le bestiaire", woven and printed in the robert four factory in aubusson. This is a faithful replica, based on a 15th century document. Period texture, wool and linen, hand-printed with a wool core. In excellent condition, the colours are bright and the whole is very decorative. Dropped from loom n°726 and with its label. Ready to hang. Dimensions: l143cm, h138cm.
