Child's Bird Biscuit

Sculpture representing a young child with a bird (dove): small rectangular base, on which a small naked boy is seated, holding in his hands & feeding a bird; shell placed next to it, containing the food after the work of jean-baptiste pigalle (1714-1785) "the child with the bird" subject in matte white biscuit porcelain, stamped with the 2 crossed arrows (paris porcelain, roquette?) a chip on the toes to be deplored (see photos) early 20th century.
