Pair of Yellow Midwinter England Majolica Dessert Plates, Cabbage Leaf

A pair of midwinter majolica dessert plates, made in burslem (uk) in the 1940s. These ceramic plates have a light yellow color and feature a motif of cabbage leaves and tomatoes. They have a diameter of 20.6 cm, sit about 2.3 cm tall from the surface, and weigh about 245 grams each. Stamped with a maker's mark on the backs. In good vintage condition: each plate has a small chip around the edge: see last two close-up photos.
