Antique ironstone plate – Demazoin Vincennes: Indigo blue & folk charm. Behind this vibrant blue stencil decoration hides a beautiful earthenware enigma: a plate stamped Demazoin Vincennes – probably a special order from a retail store, from the great manufacturers of the north like Saint-Amand or Moulin des Loups. The central floral motif and the scalloped frieze have that chic country look that we love. The deep blue, slightly faded with an airbrush, gives this piece all its graphic softness. Perfect as a solo piece in a wall composition, or to collect for a table full of history. Ironstone – Stamped Demazoin Vincennes numbered 2505. Diameter: 19.5 cm Circa 1930 Good condition: visible traces of time (slight wear on the edge, patina), but no shine.
