The vase is in very good condition, no accidents. It is a beige stoneware pot, which was thrown by a potter, then enameled afterwards, with a beautiful creamy white enamel slightly grayed. The piece, of beautiful craftsmanship, is heavy. It has thick edges, and has a generous spout, as well as two side handles. The enamel is present on the inside as well as the outside of the pot, which was necessary, since this type of pottery was originally intended for the conservation and fermentation of foodstuffs. The piece is marked with the hallmark of the duborjal-paris manufacture, whose parent company was located in the marais, and a number 4, hollowed above the hallmark indicates its capacity in liters. Note a small impact on the reverse, as well as a manufacturing defect at the edge of the base, visible in the photos. Very beautiful piece, of generous proportions, from the end of the 19th century.
