French empire style brass montgolfier crystal basket chandelier 4114

Montgolfier chandelier in gold coloured metal, brass and laden with strings of cut crystals.the chandelier is made up of two decorative rings with multiple strings of graduated sized cut glass crystals adorning the space between them. More crystals and rectangular prisms enclose the bottom of the piece and from the central ring hang several pointed cut glass crystal prisms. The chandelier hangs from a long 11 link chain, a bar and decorative cup style ceiling rose. The light is fitted with french twin core wiring and takes 1 large screw in bulb e27. The brass and metal frame work are in good vintage condition with age related patina and marks it has been cleaned but not polished so you can decide on finish. The crystals are in good condition bright and clear with no visible chips or cracks, some may have small nibbles nothing to detract from their beauty.
