Extendable vintage dining table from the 1960s, designed by Hartmut Lohmeyer for the progressive German furniture manufacturer Wilkhahn from Bad Münder. It is one of Lohmeyer's best-known and most popular designs, which impresses with its clear, minimalist design and high-quality craftsmanship. This version is made of walnut. The frame with tapered legs and the flush tabletop emphasize the elegant mid-century design. The tabletop is designed with contrasting veneer, which gives the surface a lively, graphic effect. All edges are slightly rounded, giving the table a warm and cozy feel despite its minimalist design. The table is extendable and can be expanded from 130 cm to 190 cm as needed. The additional insert panel is integrated into the frame to save space. The condition is very good with age and use-typical patina, overall well maintained (see photos). The wood is slightly faded on the sides. A high-quality design classic from the 1960s, versatile and easy to integrate into different living and dining areas. Dimensions: Width: 130 cm / extended 190 cm. Depth: 90 cm. Height: 75 cm.
