The Zeta floor lamp from the Italian manufacturer Lumina, designed by Giuseppe Linardi in the early 1990s. The Zeta Terra is a classic lamp with indirect lighting. The lamp features an elliptical light head at the top of a diagonal stem, ending in a flat round base. The stem appears to almost "float" with the base due to a marked angle that allows the cable to exit beneath the stem. The flat ellipse of the head consists of two shells separated by a transparent plastic joint. The frame is at the top of the head. On the underside, the Lumina logo is engraved both as an ornament and to dissipate heat. The light is primarily diffused downwards. The transparent joint is also slightly visible at the centre of the light head. The head is movable and can be pivoted to direct the light at a certain angle. The lamp has a dimmer on the cord. The Zeta Terra is no longer in production and is therefore rare.
