Buffet by Lothar Wegner, walnut with a black top, vintage from the 1960s.

Buffet with straight lines made in Germany, featuring a wonderful contrast between light walnut and black. The two sliding doors are operated by recessed handles. Inside, the shallower shelves allow space for larger items such as decanters or bottles. The body is made of walnut veneer with solid wood edges both inside and out, the legs are made of solid beech, and the shelves are made of veneered particle board. The top surface has been finished with a matte black high-pressure laminate. The buffet has been sanded, the base frame painted black, and the entire piece finished with a matte clear varnish.
