Parisian buffet cuisine 1940

Small sideboard, classic in all kitchens of the 1940s-50s, in Paris and the surrounding region. It was often next to the pantry, which was often built into the construction of the buildings, allowing food to be kept cool (but also warm during the summer!). Made of ordinary wood, it was often painted, like this one. The top surface is surrounded by 2cm wide aluminium. It is practical with 2 drawers. The particularity of this sideboard: the mesh windows (17x24.5cm) in the upper part of the doors, in good condition. You could see a stack of plates or pretty bowls there... Drawer measurements: 9x35cm, depth 32.
