Modernist table lamp G.C.M.E. in metal and glass, Italy 1970s

RARE Italian table lamp from the 1960s, Space Age style, produced by G.C.M.E. (Pistoia). A refined example of Mid-Century Modern design, inspired by the minimalist elegance of Angelo Lelii's works. It features an adjustable midnight blue metal shade mounted on a chrome square stem, with an internal opaline glass diffuser for a warm and sophisticated light. Condition: Perfectly functional, with original parts and wiring. The body of the lamp (blue lacquer, glass diffuser, and base) is in excellent condition. However, please note that the chrome square stem has obvious chips/losses of chrome on the upper and lower parts (as shown in the high-resolution photos). The price has been reduced accordingly to account for this specific aesthetic defect of the stem. Dimensions: Height 26 cm | Base 11 cm.
