Silver-plated tea and coffee service – WMF – Germany – circa 1900 Neo Empire style. Made by the German company WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik), circa 1895–1910. Neoclassical / Neo-Empire style model featuring: • baluster body resting on a pedestal and square base. • radiating fluted decoration. • beaded friezes. • seed-shaped handles. • angular handles typical of German production from the late 19th century. Hallmarks under the bases: WMF 1/0 ds, confirming original silver plating. A decorative set with harmonious proportions, representative of German production from the Belle Époque. Original silvering with signs of use and areas revealing the underlying metal in places. No major dents or structural deformations. Overall attractive appearance.
