Brass jacquard steel curule bench from Maison Jansen circa 1960

Superb curule savonarola bench edited by maison jansen in the 60s. Its structure is made of steel embellished with brass accents, with a seat cushion reupholstered in a royal blue jacquard fabric with celestial decorations by dedar milano. An iconic piece of the jansen house, in the pure neoclassical style that has forged its reputation. This bench is of a rare presence, and will decorate both traditional and contemporary interiors. It is heavy and robust, remaining extremely chic and decorative.
