Iconic 1980s Artifort Big Globe Lounge Chair and Ottoman by Pierre Paulin

This breathtaking mid-century modern lounge set features the iconic Big Globe chair (model F422) accompanied by its matching ottoman, designed by the legendary Pierre Paulin for Artifort. Dating from the 1980s, this set has been freshly restored and professionally upholstered to the highest standards. Condition and Restoration: The set has been completely stripped and rebuilt with brand new, premium quality foam and wrapped in a luxurious, ultra-soft textured bouclé fabric (a high-end blend containing wool) that perfectly accentuates the organic, flowing contours of Paulin's design. The heavy, brushed metal disc bases are completely original, solid, and in very good vintage condition with minor, normal signs of wear consistent with age. For an even more pristine look, the bases can easily be polished. Both pieces retain their original Artifort maker's marks underneath.
