Antique desk lamp — originally a cast iron candlestick from the mid/late 19th century, converted into an electric lamp in the early 20th century (brass extension, socket, and shade holder). Greenish patina imitating antique bronze. Beautiful casting, careful details. Likely model number: 5005. Bust of Friedrich Schiller. Germany (Berlin, Sayn, Gleiwitz / Gliwice). Very good condition, fully functional, sold without shade. Height of the candlestick part (cast iron): 27 cm. Base: 14 × 14 cm. Height with socket: 39.5 cm. Total height with shade holder: 52 cm.
