Modular CSS library by George Nelson

Vintage wall shelf signed George Nelson, produced by Herman Miller and distributed in France by Mobilier International (1960s/70s). This is the famous CSS (Comprehensive Storage System), consisting of: 2 shelves measuring 83 cm wide, 33 cm deep 1 large drawer unit measuring 83 cm wide, 37.5 cm high, 47 cm deep 2 wall-mounted uprights in brushed aluminium, 138.5 cm high The unit was originally designed for hanging file storage. However, as this type of arrangement is no longer very relevant, a drawer unit was created to transform it into a full drawer without altering the structure of the furniture, thus preserving its authenticity. Iconic design of the mid-century modern style. Original stamp "Mobilier International Paris" present in the unit (proof of authenticity). Very good overall condition, solid wall mounting, ready for use. Ideal for a design, vintage, or contemporary decor.
