Authentic wine carafe model Harcourt 1841 in Baccarat crystal. This historic mouth-blown model is instantly recognisable by its geometric architectural lines, wide flat ribs, and hexagonal six-sided stopper. Features and dating: * Period: Magnificent handcrafted production from the late 19th or very early 20th century. It does not bear the modern circular stamp under the base, which was only introduced by Baccarat in 1936. * Proof of authenticity: Both the stopper and the inner lip of the neck are finely engraved with the number 11 (see stopper photo). This is the guarantee of a unique original set, honed and custom-fitted by hand in the workshops of the manufacture. * Dimensions: Total height of approximately 30.3 cm (official standard size). * General condition: three small signs of age that do not affect its brilliance, solidity, or usability: 1. A small impact on the underside of the stopper button (very discreet, not visible from above or when the carafe is placed on a table). 2. A small chip on the lower part of the stopper that fits into the neck. 3. There is a fine scratch on the surface of the crystal, just at the level of the ring that encircles the base of the neck. Still marketed by the crystal factory and considered the absolute flagship of the brand, this icon of table art is currently worth €1, 400 new in stores.
