Pair of Scandinavian floating nightstands rosewood Denmark 1960

A refined pair of Scandinavian floating nightstands made in Denmark during the 1960s. Crafted in richly figured rosewood, each nightstand features a single drawer with a beautifully shaped integrated wooden pull. Subtly raised side panels frame the top, while the expressive grain and warm tones of the rosewood emphasize the clean form. Designed to be mounted directly to the wall, the nightstands create a light and minimal appearance without the need for legs or a supporting frame. The drawers provide practical bedside storage, while the compact proportions also make them suitable as floating side tables. Clean lines, carefully shaped details and the expressive use of rosewood reflect the refined simplicity of Scandinavian modern design from this period.
