Renaissance column in pietra serena, Italy, 15th century

A band of Renaissance pilasters in pietra serena, in the typical Florentine style of the late 15th century. One of a pair, probably from a fireplace, features a decoration of a festoon of leaves and fruits held by a knot, the lower part chiseled, the Corinthian capital sculpted with typical palm leaves.
