Discover this one-of-a-kind coffee table, a masterpiece of interior design from the 1970s, attributed to Pierre Giraudon. Crafted from shattered resin, this innovative material is characterized by its fractal appearance, offering a visually captivating texture and a radiance that varies depending on the light. The oval top is meticulously carved to incorporate inclusions of shattered resin, creating a deliberately disordered effect that blends harmoniously with contemporary aesthetics. The table's leg is made of chrome-plated steel, a choice that contrasts with the apparent fragility of the surface and provides undeniable strength and stability. Pierre Giraudon's design, although simple in appearance, is the embodiment of a profound reflection on functionality and aesthetics. The table stands out for its compact size: 118 cm long, 60 cm wide, and 38 cm high, making it perfect for tight spaces or to complete a living room furniture set. Although the tabletop has a small chip on the underside of one of the corner ovals, this defect is repairable and is invisible from the top side. This does not affect the overall integrity of the table and is imperceptible. It fits perfectly into a contemporary decor, while adding a touch of retro.
