Former mahogany naval officer writing machinery Empire late nineteenth century

An old naval officer's writing board, in varnished solid mahogany, decorated with reinforcements, angles and brass ribbons. Inside, the box is entirely mahogany: location for two small drawers, one is missing. Several elements are absent (locker ruler including one for the pen tray, interlayer writing plate, key) but it remains a superb period box. Period: empire late nineteenth century. Dimensions: 40 X 25 X 15; weight 7.4 kg. Good condition of use.
