Old oblong coral on wooden base 24 cm

Elegant specimen of ancient coral in oblong shape, mounted vertically on a turned solid wood base. This fossilized coral, probably of the Favia type, has fine, very regular star-shaped structures and a natural ivory hue. Mounted on a golden metal stem, it fits perfectly into a naturalist decoration or a cabinet of curiosities. The total height is 24 cm, with a diameter of approximately 10 to 11 cm. The overall condition is good, despite some natural erosion marks at the base of the coral and irregularities in the wood, which give character to the whole.
