Louis XIII crystal glass

Crystal glass 4 cl tasting Louis XIII Cognac Rémy Martin. Each LOUIS XIII glass is unique and meticulously handcrafted by 9 Master Glassmakers who pass each piece from hand to hand. This crystal is delicately shaped before being blown to give it its initial form. Similar to the craftsmanship required to create the medallions on a LOUIS XIII decanter, a small fragment of crystal is meticulously applied to form the base. The master glassmaker uses their artisanal tools to ensure a round and uniform shape that will allow the glass to maintain its final position. Once achieved, the facets of the glass are cut one by one into the crystal, giving it its iconic shape. Like a cut diamond, light diffuses and reflects, bringing to life the multiple facets of the mahogany hue of LOUIS XIII. As a result of this unique craftsmanship, LOUIS XIII glasses may slightly differ in length or width. The uniqueness of each glass is later expressed through a myriad of notes when two LOUIS XIII Cognac glasses are toasted, inducing an enchanted symphony of chimes.
